Week 3 has historically proven to be a pivotal early
week in the season. This year's Week 3 matchups are
highly intriguing in that it features two matchups
that will ultimately decide the early lead in the
division standings. In a matchup of unbeaten teams
Tormenta will try to take back it's control of the
division against the O's who have not won a division
title since 2008. For the last five seasons A II P
has held a firm grip atop the American League standings
- rarely not either in sole possession or at least
shared the lead at any point during the year. The
surprise Tomcats are off to a 2-0 start and have a
chance to really take control of the division in a
showdown with A II P. Last year the Lions feel into
an early 0-7 hole they could not recover from (despite
a solid second half). They will hope to avoid another
0-3 start as they face 1-1 328's. United has not started
a season 0-3 since 2003. They are decimated by injuries
and now face a 69ers team that has yet to win this
year but has scored over 110 points in both games.
Qb Matt Ryan returns to Outer Banks now with his new
team H has they face a Lightning squad coming off
an impressive victory that snapped a franchise worst
6-game losing streak.
