A season is full of so many different waves and ups
and downs. Obviously injuries and bye weeks are a
big part of it, but momentum can shift very quickly
from week to week. Just two weeks ago United was looking
ready to take over as the front runner in the American
League, but after two disappointing performances they've
dropped three games back and are fighting in Wild
Card contention. In that same span Lightning was coming
off a season-high scoring performance but have also
lost two straight and are currently out of Prestige
Playoff position. United and Lightning will now meet
up in a critical matchup if for nothing more then
to turn the downward momentum back towards the positive.
In other Week 7 matchups, A II P tries to end a drought
of recent 6-0 failures against an H team that is quietly
sneaking up the standings with consistent scoring
production (they are yet to score below 100 pts in
a game); the 69ers and Lake Show each try to forget
the tough Monday Night defeats they suffered a week
ago; the O's look to keep rolling with the momentum
they've built the last two weeks as they face a 328's
team without it's top scoring option; and the Tomcats
seek a third straight win as they face a difficult
challenge in the defending Prestige Champions.
