Week 6 is the start of a four-week stretch featuring
all non-divisional matchups. Last year the American
League division greatly improved and even won the
overall head-to-head meetings. So far this year the
National League has clearly established themselves
as the more dominant division - both in wins and in
points. The leagues three highest scoring teams (Tormenta,
69ers, and O's) are all in the National League and
the American League is currently 1-4 in head-to-head
meetings against the National League so far this year.
The biggest difference has been in scoring as National
League teams are currently averaging 122 points per
game through the first five weeks against just 99
points per game from American League teams. The highest
scoring team is Tormenta is is on pace to break the
2011 scoring record set by A II P. Tormenta will face
328's in a battle of two of the leagues most explosive
QBs. In other Week 6 matchups A II P looks to remain
unbeaten as they face a Lightning team that has had
success against them in recent years (including last
years Semi Finals Prestige Playoff meeting); Lake
Show seeks their first victory of the year against
an H team that has yet to score below 100 pts in a
game this year; The 69ers are off to their best start
in franchise history. They look to remain undefeated
as they face a Tomcats team hoping to extend off last
weeks big Monday Night victory; and the O's turned
things around in a big way last week earning their
first win of the season. Will they continue to turn
things around as they face a United team coming off
a very disappointing Week 5 performance.
