The 2013 concluded with a thrilling Prestige Championship
as the top seeded 69ers defeated American League Champion
A II P 114-104. The 69ers held a five point lead entering
Sunday Night and A II P actually took a three-point
with a 12 point performance from k Dan Bailey... but
a late game touchdown play from wr Dez Bryant put
the 69ers in front and secured the franchise it's
third Prestige Championship title. Bryant finished
the game with 17 points. The Prestige and Postseason
MVP honors go to Demaryius Thomas, who scored 27 points
in the Finals (and 49 overall in two postseason games).
The 69ers improve to 3-0 in the Prestige Championship
game (two of which have come against A II P). A II
P was seeking a seventh Prestige title but will instead
drop to 6-4 in finals games. This is the fourth time
in league history that both teams scored at least
100+ points in the Finals (others were 2007, 2009,
2011). The 69ers join A II P and O's as the only franchises
with at least three Prestige Championships and they
are the sixth team to finish as both Best Regular
Season Team and Prestige Champion in the same season
(previously done in 2011, 2010, 2000, 1998, 1995 -
four from A II P).
