The four remaining teams have all won multiple Prestige
Championships. In fact one of these four teams has
won ten of the last eleven Prestige titles (including
four consecutive). The defending Champion Tormenta
will meet a familiar postseason opponent in A II P,
who won the previous two. The two met in the 2011
and 2009 finals (splitting winners in the games).
Now they face in a Semi Final matchup with second
seeded A II P hosting Tormenta, the fourth seed. Both
teams enter with serious injury issues. A II P has
lost top scorers Julio Jones, Rob Gronkowski, Arian
Foster and now possibly Larry Fitzgerald. Tormenta
has been without Aaron Rodgers, Randall Cobb and last
week Adrian Peterson and Wes Welker. Depth always
factors into a Prestige Championship and both these
teams will be tested. Tormenta has recently improved
it's scoring since that five-week losing streak during
Weeks 9-13. They've won two straight and scored above
115 in each. In the other Week 15 matchup, United
looks to followup one of it's all-time best performances
against the top seed 69ers. The 69ers have not lost
since Week 9 and they hold are 2-0 against United
this season. The last time United defeated the 69ers
was back in Week 6 of 2010. Both franchises are seeking
a third Prestige title. In the Loser Bowl Championship
Lake Show is seeking an eight consecutive victory
in the Loser Bowl Playoffs as they face a Tomcats
franchise looking for it's first postseason Championship
since winning a Loser Bowl title in 1997 (then as
the Flying Pigskins).
