With three weeks remaining in the regular season it
appears as though four teams are safe of clinching
a berth into the Prestige Playoffs (though only two
are "officially clinched"). That would leave
two wild card seeds left for six teams. Entering Week
12 the top of those teams is 328's, who have very
quietly won three straight and have not scored below
100 points since Week 5. In the Game of the Week 328's
will face a Lake Show team that needs to win every
game and have help for a chance at the Prestige Playoffs,
after suffering that heartbreaking Monday Night loss
last week to snap a three game winning streak. The
team currently holding the sixth and final Prestige
Playoff spot is United, who will meet a 69ers team
that is currently holding on to sole possession of
first place in the National League as they look to
secure a first round bye. The defending National League
and Prestige Champions have suddenly lost three straight
games and face an O's team that continues to score
well but can not find consistent wins sitting just
outside a Prestige Playoff spot at 4-7. Also outside
is Lightning who lost a crucial game last week and
now face an H team that has won five of the last six
weeks and still has division title hopes. A II P has
already clinched the American League title (for a
record fifth straight year) and they'll seek a tenth
season with at least 10 wins against the Tomcats,
who enter with a five game losing streak and with
Prestige Playoffs chances very slim (they can not
lose another game and must also have help from other
teams for a chance).
