Week 10 welcomes back the return of divisional matchups
as the league enters the final five-week stretch towards
the postseason. League-wide scoring is at a record pace
this year and the race for the division and wild cards remain
wide open. Perhaps the most interesting story of the season
has been the turn around made by the Tomcats, who at 4-5
currently sit in position for the sixth and final Prestige
Playoff spot. A Prestige Playoffs berth this season would
be their first since 2007, ending a league-record for the
longest drought between playoff appearances. The Tomcats
Week 10 opponent is 328's, who currently hold the 5th seed
at 5-4 after last weeks win. In other Week 10 matchups,
A II P will try to bounce back after a season-low 84 point
performance last week. They have not lost consecutive games
since Week 13 of 2008. They'll face a 69ers team seeking
their first consecutive wins of the season; United will
try to end a 2-game losing skid as they face a red-hot Lake
Show team that has scored 310 pts over the last two weeks
(155 ppg); Tormenta will be without Aaron Rodgers as they
go for a seventh straight victory. They'll face an O's team
coming off a tough result from last week in which they scored
134 pts in a losing effort; H is not officially eliminated
from Prestige Playoff contention but a loss here against
Lightning would. Lightning who has lost three of the last
four weeks and are now sitting a game back in the National
League standings. (no Weekend Preview this week... sorry!).
