The Postseason picture should look much clearer after this
weekend. Currently only two spots are secured but three
others are in very strong position as only minor scenarios
will stand in the way. That would leave one spot left with
four teams in contention. Two of them face each other in
Week 13 with the O's and 69ers both entering off big wins
last week. Both teams have been among the leagues most steady
in terms of scoring production (they are both tied for 3rd
in the league with eight 100+ point games). At 4-8 the 69ers
remain a long-shot even with a win here. The O's also need
help to advance but a win here could set themselves up nicely
entering the final week of the season. In other Week 13
matchups, A II P can officially clinch a fourth straight
American League title with a win against 328's who still
have a slight chance at the division crown; Lake Show enters
after a tough loss last week but they remain red-hot in
scoring and in the division race. They will face a Lightning
team that has struggled (losing three of the last four)
yet also is in the division title race in the National League;
United has won two straight and is in control of the sixth
and final Wild Card spot. They face a Tomcats team that
has a very rare scenario which could put them in the Prestige
Playoffs for the first time since 2007; H has won two straight
games playing postseason spoiler. Next they face
a Tormenta team that is looking to lockup the National League
title yet has dropped two of the last three weeks. (no
Weekend Preview this week... sorry!).
