Well, the poem certainly sparked my interest
in seeing the movie. I would like to gain
insight into the experience that prompted
the poem, rather than assume it was inspired
commentary from other or related real life
experiences. The darkness of the poem is
stark. The darkness of the hinted hope is
palpable. The lurking threat is ever present.
Still, there is tomorrow.
