| The
Montgomery County Poet Laureate Program (MCPL) is launching
a monthly gathering, The Montco Poets' Wordshop
in Lansdale, PA. This workshop-style gathering will
be an opportunity for serious writers to share and discuss
their work in a cooperative setting among peers. To
get started we're asking local poets to indicate their
interest.
Participants
should have some prior workshop experience and be
prepared to critically evaluate the work of others
and accept critical evaluation from others. This group
will include published, award-winning writers from
the Bux-Mont area. The gatherings will take place
on the first Tuesday of every month at Molly Maguire's
in Lansdale. Participation is free, but patronage
of the venue is encouraged.
Public
poetry readings will also be scheduled. If you are
interested in being considered for the Montco Poets'

space in the Wordshop is limited, so there may not
