RECEIVES GRANT
The
MCPL program is supported in part by the Pennsylvania
Council on the Arts, a state agency, through its regional
arts funding partnership, Pennsylvania Partners in the
Arts (PPA). State government funding for the arts depends
upon an annual appropriation by the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania and support from the National Endowment
for the Arts, a federal agency. PPA is administered
in this region by the Greater Philadelphia Cultural

LIBRARY STUDENT POETRY READING & CHECK PRESENTATION

and PoetryWITS began a fundraising effort for The Ambler
Library as part of the 2011 Youth Poetry Contest. On
Wednesday May 25th at 7pm we celebrated the donations
as well as the 2011 Youth Poetry Contest winners with
a check presentation and a poetry reading from the winning

Conference Community Service Award, for her dedication
and tireless work on the Philly literary scene, helping
other poets and writers, and for her creation and devotion

a monthly gathering, The Montco Poets' Wordshop
at
Molly Maguire's Restaurant (Lansdale PA).
