Despite
possessing one of the leagues most explosive lineups,
H enters October without a win and in jeopardy of
moving to 0-4 thus increasing the chances of falling
out of the Prestige Playoff race for the second straight
year (and 3rd time in the past 4 years). Last year
H finished tied for 3rd with 103 points per game and
they currently rank 7th in 2009 with 92 points per
game (they have surpassed the 100 point mark in two
straight weeks). The problem has been points against
as they've allowed over 120+ points against in each
game this year (they also lead the league in Points
Against in 2008 with 108 per game). Of the 12 previous
teams to start a season 0-4, only one made the Prestige
Playoffs (the Condors in 1998) so the importance of
this game is heightened for H. They will face a formidable
challenge in Tormenta who is off to an impressive
2-1 start with a points per game average of 109 (3rd
best in the league). In other Week 4 action, 328's
also look to avoid falling into the doomed 0-4 start
as they meet and unbeaten A II P team; Lake Show goes
for the franchises first ever 4-0 start against a
Tomcats team now looking to extend a winning streak;
Lightning will look to keep pace in the competitive
National League standings against the division's longtime
and current leading O's; and the 69ers will look to
get back to their winning ways as they face a United
team that has lost two straight and are averaging
just 63 points per game over that span. This weekend
marks the leagues 200th regular season week.
