69ers 328's A II P H Lake Show Lightning O's Tomcats Tormenta United

Week 3 has historically been a pivotal week for gauging an outlook toward the Prestige Playoffs. History has shown that 84% (71 of 84) of teams among the top six in overall scoring after Week 3 (regardless of record) finish the season with a playoff berth. At least five of six teams among the top six overall scoring after Week 3 have clinched a Prestige Playoff berth in 13 of the previous 14 years (2007 being the only exception). So as September approaches an end and the Prestige Championship is far away Week 3 still holds an importance for those who follow history and trends. This week will not assure anything but it could prove to provide some ease and excitement for the remaining season ahead. In the Game of the Week the 69ers will try to close out September with an unbeaten record for the first time in franchise history while also taking an early two game lead over the 3-time defending National League Champion O's; A II P looks to win a 7th straight September game as they face United; Lake Show goes for a 5th consecutive win against an H team seeking it's first win of the year; Tomcats and 328's will each try to get their first win of the year; and Tormenta and Lightning will try to keep pace in the highly competitive National League standings.
