It is time to open your eyes. The dreams will become reality as a new season begins. Six teams enter the Prestige Playoffs, four of which will battle in the opening Wild Card weekend in Week 15. Nine of the fourteen Prestige Champions were Wild Card teams so you certainly can not look at these teams lightly. Tormenta and the O's each are averaging over 115 points per game on the season and Lake Show and United have had recent success in the postseason (be it the Loser Bowl Playoffs of the Prestige Playoffs). Playing as a rare Wild Card team the 3rd seeded O's will host United, who is the only franchise with a winning head-to-head record against the O's (including two Prestige Playoff victories). United last time in the Prestige Playoffs was a Championship win over the O's in 2006. In the other Wild Card matchup Tormenta looks to earn just the second Prestige Playoff win for the franchise against a Lake Show team that has entered the Prestige Playoffs with the formula many previous Champions have winning two must-win games to close out the regular season and clinch a berth. In the Loser Bowl the Lightning and 328's square off in an ironic rematch of last years Prestige Championship. The Tomcats and H are the leagues will try to salvage disappointing seasons as they look to getting out of the Loser Bowl playoffs in 2010.
