69ers 328's A II P H Lake Show Lightning O's Tomcats Tormenta United

The final week of the 2009 Regular Season is upon us. Though explosive 140+ point performances are down 2009 has been the highest scoring season in league history. Last week ended a record streak of 8 straight 100 point weekly averages and the season average is an all-time high 103 points per game. Of course it may also be a season best remembered for the possibly of two 6-8 teams clinching Prestige Playoff berths or even the possibly of a 5-7 team. That could happened as four teams battle for the remaining two Wild Card spots. In the Game of the Week 328's and United essentially will play for one of the two Wild Cards. Lake Show is in the best position as they can clinch with a win over American League Champion A II P or with a Tomcats loss to Tormenta. Tormenta is is still fighting for a National League title and would have a chance with a win and a 69ers loss against the defending Prestige Champion Lightning, who has been officially eliminated from contention. The only matchup with no playoff or postseason implications is the historic Week 14 meeting between H and the O's.

15TH YEAR FUN FACT
H and O's have meet in Week 14 every year since 2000 and 11 overall. The O's have won 5 of the last 6 Week 14 meetings and they hold a slight 6-5 lead all-time. 1996, 1997, and 1999 were the only years the two did not meet in Week 14.
