Two
weeks remain in the season and the Playoff picture
remains a mystery. Particularly the Wild Card spots
as the American League division has been clinched
and the National League is settled with two teams
eliminated and three fighting for the division title.
Fours teams in the American League will fight for
the remaining two Wild Card seeds. The Game of the
Week features two of these teams. Lake Show is the
only one of the four that will be officially eliminated
with a loss. However because of their low point production
a loss by the Tomcats would put them in a position
where they would need a win and alot of help the following
week. Lake Show on the other hand leads all four potential
wild card teams in scoring so a win over the Tomcats
this week will put the pressure on United and 328's.
So the Lake Show and Tomcats matchup is essentially
a playoff game and the wild card race is likely to
continue until the final week of the season. In other
Week 12 matchups 328's go for a 5th straight against
an A II P team that already has the division and first-round
bye clinched; United can take a strong hold on a possible
wild card berth with a win over a 69ers team in control
of it's own destiny for it's first ever division title;
and Lightning and H are both eliminated from the Prestige
Playoffs but they can spoil the division title hopes
of their Week 13 opponents.
