69ers 328's A II P H Lake Show Lightning O's Tomcats Tormenta United

Despite two Prestige Champions and a current streak of seven straight Prestige Playoff appearances, the 69ers are the only franchise in the league to never win a division title. That can all change this season or perhaps even this week as a win would put them in control of their won destiny entering the final two weeks of the season. The 69ers currently sit tied atop the division with the O's, a team that has won the last three National League titles and nine overall. It really should be no other way that the 69ers must defeat the O's. Adding to the challenge is the fact that the 69ers are 6-23 against the O's all-time in the regular season including a loss earlier this season. Of course a win will not clinch the division for either team (especially with Tormenta also lurking) but it will put one team in sole possession of first and in control of their own destiny. In other Week 12 matchups, 328's look for a 4th straight win to move into a Prestige Playoff spot against the currently 6th seeded Tomcats; H continues to play the spoiler role against a Lake Show team just outside the Prestige Playoff picture; United can move themselves into a very strong Playoff position with a win over the recently crowned American League Champions; and Tormenta vies to keep their division title hopes alive as they meet a Lightning team that must win to avoid elimination from Prestige Playoff contention.

15TH YEAR FUN FACT
The leagues first trade occurred one day after the Inaugural Draft with the 69ers acquiring Chris Warren from the Hoots for Keith Byars, Ricky Prohel and Fraud Reviez. Warren ended up being the Trade Acquisition of the year and was the 69ers one "Keeper Player" going into 1996.
