69ers 328's A II P H Lake Show Lightning O's Tomcats Tormenta United

Lightning proved, as six of the past seven Prestige Champions have, that winning a title has less to do with how you start the first half of the year and more to do with how you perform over the second half. Of course Lake Show showed that you still need to win in the first half to give yourself a shot in the second half, as a 2-6 start prevented them from a Prestige Playoffs instead settling for an impressive run to a Loser Bowl title. By Week 8 last year Lightning was 3-5 before winning 7 of the last 9 games with four wins in which they scored at least 130 points. In contrast A II P began the season a dominant 6-0 but they did not win again until the final regular season to barely squeak into the Prestige Playoffs where they eventually lost in the First Round. Of course sometimes you just get unlucky and such was the case for the O's who won eight straight games entering the Prestige Playoffs and scored 132 points in the Semifinals yet lost to a hotter Lightning team that scored 147 points. More and more the league is proving to be competitive enough that every team is a Championship contender at any time as long as they put themselves into the position to have a chance. Such will again be the case this season as A2P Fantasy Sports Online takes a closer look at each team prior to the draft.

Our 15th season will continue a new era of our league, which last year added a significant shift with the introduction of the 'Flex Rule'. Now we continue the growth in our 15th Anniversary Season with the arrival of a newly designed website and a unique Draft Day celebration. For our previous 14 seasons, the Draft was held on a weeknight. The 15th Annual Draft will be held on a Saturday and for the first time will not be coordinated by Brad and Kathleen Fisher. Josh and Lisa Martin will coordinate this years draft, which promises to be one of celebration - both for our leagues past success as well as an exciting future! Events and games will begin at 12pm with the draft then set to start around 3pm. The atmosphere of the day will be carnival-esque as we develop from the leagues past and celebrate today's new era in anticipation of a bright future.
