The last time the 328's franchise won three games in September was 2003. Not so coincidentally, that is also the last time the franchise (then KC Whoa) played in a Prestige Playoff game. The four year drought of Loser Bowl appearances is currently the longest running in the league. However, a win this week would improve 328's to 3-0, a mark that the franchise has never had (even in their two championship years). To do so they will need to defeat a United that has opened the season strong, averaging 100 points per game over the first two weeks. In other Week 2 matchups, A II P and Lake Show meet for the first time since their record-breaking 340 point game last year; The O's look to remain the only unbeaten team in the National League against a Tomcats team playing a Week 3 game at 0-2 for the first time since 1997; The defending Prestige Champion 69ers hope to get things going against a much-improved Lightning team that is starting to shows the explosive scoring they have lacked the past couple years; and Tormenta will try to avoid falling into another early hole as they meet up against an H team coming off a 137 point losing effort.
